Strategy Inc

NASDAQ:MSTR · through Sep 27, 2026

+2,616 BTC

845,050 → 847,666

Two weekly 8-Ks cover the change. Strategy's September 21 8-K (accession 0001193125-26-396093) reports 950 BTC bought during September 14-20 with $75.7 million of USD Cash and no ATM sales. Its September 28 8-K (accession 0001193125-26-403417) reports 1,665 BTC bought during September 21-27 with $142.7 million of the $246.2 million net raised by selling 1,469,165 MSTR shares through its ATM; the other $103.5 million funded STRC repurchases. The filings state whole bitcoin and do not reconcile to the unit: the two purchases sum to 2,615 BTC, while the filed aggregates, 845,050 as of September 13 (its September 14 8-K, accession 0001193125-26-389858) and 847,666 as of September 27, differ by 2,616.

Share count: 1,469,165 Class A shares sold through the ATM during September 21-27 and none during September 14-20; the filings do not restate a period-end common-share denominator for a Gazette BTC-per-share calculation.

+1,800 BTC

21,356 → 23,156

Share count: Effective common shares increased by 3,579,147, from 89,683,423 to 93,262,570.

BTC per share: Gazette calculation using effective common shares: about 23,813 to 24,829 sats per share, up 4.27%.

The disclosure is an issuer-reported consolidated holding. Metaplanet uses Bitcoin and cash as collateral and had drawn a Bitcoin-collateralized credit facility, but this source does not quantify how many of the 43,000 BTC were pledged. The company also states that on-chain information alone cannot establish address ownership, custodial control, or liens. SG has not independently verified those matters, and later transactions may change holdings after June 30, 2026.

Limitation: The disclosed total includes 4,742 BTC loaned to third parties and 4,528 BTC pledged as collateral; only 26,307 BTC were unrestricted. It excludes 44 BTC held by an equity-method investee pending distribution. SG has not independently verified wallets, custody, counterparties, or collateral control, and MARA states that it sells bitcoin on an ongoing basis, so this is not a claim about holdings after June 30, 2026.

Methodology

What enters the ledger

Sum the latest active verified BTC observation for each selected entity using exact decimal arithmetic. Companies are ordered by disclosed BTC amount from largest to smallest, with alphabetical tie-breaking; no complete-market rank is assigned.

A later filing appends a new observation. It does not silently rewrite the old one. BTC-per-share appears only when the same primary receipt supplies a defensible share denominator.

Figures on this page are shortened for reading, never rounded up: whole bitcoin above 10,000, one decimal between 100 and 10,000, every satoshi below that. A published figure is therefore never larger than the receipt it came from, nothing stored is altered, and the linked filing carries the exact disclosed number.

Still excluded

  • ETFs, funds, trusts, custodians, exchanges, and client assets
  • governments and sovereign reserves
  • wallet-attribution estimates and secondary-source-only claims
  • synthetic or tokenized Bitcoin exposure
  • mNAV until a licensed, reliable equity-price feed is available
  • secondary database rows without a primary receipt

This page changes only after evidence is reviewed and a sanitized snapshot is exported. Pending observations, operator identities, and newsroom runtime state are never included.
