Swiss Bitcoin Pay says it is temporarily shutting down its servers after suspected unauthorised access to internal systems. The company says customer emails, Bitcoin addresses, IBANs, transaction histories and hashed passwords may have been accessed; the full scope remains unclear. It says user funds are safe and amounts owed will be returned, but has given no reopening date. In a follow-up, it explained that incoming Lightning payments are temporarily held before batched on-chain payouts.
