SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce told the Investor Advisory Committee on 10 September that the meeting "likely is my last" and called herself a lame duck, in remarks the SEC posted under the title "Lame Duck." The SEC's Crypto Task Force page names Peirce as its lead; the remarks did not mention crypto, a departure date or a successor.
