Satoshi Gazette
Data Desk

The change log gains record pages, share cards, a feed and a front-page line

· The record

Each entry of the Data Desk’s change log now has a page of its own, at /data/record/ followed by the anchor the entry has on the method page: the entry’s date, its desk, its title and its full text, the mark on an entry the Gazette’s data job filed, the link to the page the entry is about, the link back to its place in the log, and the primary records of the dataset its desk concerns, as the register lists them. Each page carries a share card drawn from the entry’s text, in type only. The log is also a feed, at /feed/record: every entry, newest first, each linking its page, with the job’s mark in the words of an entry it filed. The front page carries one line for the newest entry, beside the day’s date, linking its page. An entry the job commits gets its page, its card and its feed item on deploy, with no change to the site’s code. No figure changed.
