Network gains a Protocol page: every BIP by the status the BIP repository gives it

· BIP status

Network has a third page, Protocol. It lists every Bitcoin Improvement Proposal the BIP repository's index links, 213 at commit 927b6de of 2 October, by the status the repository gives it: 78 Deployed, 57 Closed, 56 Draft and 22 Complete, the four words BIP 3 sets. The desk reads each BIP's own preamble from github.com/bitcoin/bips without an account and matches it against the repository's index; a preamble that does not read is held with its reason, never guessed, and no older status is mapped onto BIP 3's. A status is the repository's label for a document: it is not an endorsement, and it does not say a consensus change has activated. From its first read on 3 October the desk records each status change on the day it sees it, not the day it happened; none is recorded yet. Three numbers the index lists without a document (40, 41 and 63) are kept apart. Below the board, the 25 security advisories bitcoincore.org has posted are set on one line by posting date, each linked to its post, from the lifecycle file read on 1 October. The board is a dated snapshot, read by hand until the daily job reads it, and its file is offered on Downloads as JSON and CSV. Neither section uses a price. BIP status method 1.0.0.
